Abstract:
To provide a geothermal binary power generation system which has small output fluctuation and can provide compact equipment in binary power generation cycle utilizing geothermal energy.SOLUTION: A geothermal binary power generation system 11 includes a mixer 16 which receives two-phase flow of vapor and hot water taken out from a geothermal production well 12 and stores the two-phase flow in the two-phase state, an evaporator 18 which heats a medium of a boiling point lower than water by using hot water from the mixer 16 as a heat source and evaporates the medium, a hot water return pipe line 24 through which a part of the hot water radiating heat on the evaporator 18 is returned to the mixer 16, a reduction pipe line 30 which reduces a part of hot water radiating heat on the evaporator 18 to a reduction well 31 without returning the part of hot water to the mixer 16, a turbine 13 driven by medium which is heated by the evaporator 18 and is evaporated and a medium return pipe line 20 which returns medium after performing a work on the turbine 13 to the evaporator 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
