To provide a terrestrial heat exchanging device to be buried in the ground over the whole of the terrestrial heat exchanging device in a limited space such as a residential area of a city and allowing the ground surface over the terrestrial heat exchanging device to be nearly leveled, capable of effectively utilizing the ground surface, and facilitated in maintenance, while maintaining high terrestrial heat exchanging efficiency by burying the whole of the terrestrial heat exchanging device in the ground to prevent exposure thereof with the open air.
A plurality of heat exchanging buried pipes 3, which respectively houses a heating medium pipe 5, a lateral maintenance pipe 9 for housing a lateral main pipe 10, to which each of the heating medium pipes 5 is connected, and a vertical maintenance pipe 7 provided in a connection part of the heating medium pipe 5 and the lateral main pipe 10 are buried in the ground 2. A lid body 8 provided in an upper part of the vertical maintenance pipe 7 is opened in the ground surface 2a for exchange of the heating medium pipe 5 and the lateral main pipe and for maintenance.
