Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geothermal power generation method and a device that achieve low-cost production with compact, high-performance constitution, and occupy a small installation area, and are safe and high in reliability.SOLUTION: There are provided a geothermal power generation method and a device including: thermally coupling a closed power cycle 15 to a heat pump HP; generating refrigerant steam from a liquefied refrigerant by utilizing ground heat at an underground residual layer part or nearby a ground layer surface by the heat pump through a geothermal recovery heat exchanger 2; expanding and evaporating the refrigerant steam after being compressed by a refrigerant compressor; generating a high-temperature high-pressure working fluid by compressing a low-temperature low-pressure working fluid by a fluid compressor 27; generating pulse electric power by supplying stored electric power of a power storage unit 20 to a pulse power source 28; heating an electric power gas generator 42 to a predetermined temperature with the pulse electric power; generating a high-temperature high-pressure power gas by bringing the high-temperature high-pressure working fluid into contact with the electric power gas generator; and generating mechanical energy by operating a movable piston 200 with the high-temperature high-pressure working gas; and supplying the mechanical energy to an electric power generator 16 so as to generate electric power.
