PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain germicidal powder for agriculture having improved properties regarding deposit on a plant body and germicidal effect by compounding a germicidal compound with two kinds of specific additives and supporting them on a solid carrier.
SOLUTION: A germicidal compound, a nonvolatile organic solvent and a nonionic surfactant as essential components are added to a solid carrier. Any compound effective as an agricultural germicidal agent for paddy-rice plant, a fruit tree, vegetables, etc., can be used as the germicidal compound. Its content in the preparation is about 0.1-50wt.%. A solvent especially having a boiling point of ≥150°C such as methylnaphthalene or phenylxylylethane is preferably used as the nonvolatile organic solvent. Its content is about 0.1-10wt.% of the total amount of the preparation, and the ratio to the germicidal compound is ≥1:0.1. The nonionic surfactant has preferably HLB of between 5-15 since such a surfactant has a large deposit. The content is about 0.1-5wt.% of the total amount of the preparation, and the ratio to the inactive organic solvent is 1:0.01 to 1:2.
