Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a movement that a user does not intend from being misrecognized as a gesture.SOLUTION: A gesture input device 1 which controls control object equipment 3 based upon a user's gesture includes a decision gesture determination part 32 which determines whether a gesture detected from an image picked up by a camera 2 includes a decision gesture; an operation gesture determination part 34 which determines whether the gesture detected from the image picked up by the camera 2 includes an operation gesture; and an equipment control part 23 which generates a control signal made to correspond to the operation gesture determined by the operation gesture determination part to be included and transmits the generated control signal to the control object equipment 3 during a recognition period of the decision gesture.
