The moving handrail 6 running along the peripheral edge of a handrail 3 intrudes into and goes out of the man conveyor 1 upon passing through the inlet rubber 9 provided protrusively on the base 7 of the handrail 3 at the get-on place. A hindering member 11 formed in a rounded column having roundness at the top is installed upright on the floor plate 13 of the get-on place in the neighborhood of the inlet rubber 9 and arranged in front of the inlet rubber 9 and inside the handrail 3. Even if the user has committed a misoperation, the cart is hindered by the hindering member 11 and does not run against the inlet rubber 9.
