Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to produce an inexpensive active getter at a low temperature on the surface of the activating getter at a high temperature which has already been activated.
SOLUTION: An activating getter 1 at a low temperature is in a pill-like form and consists of an activating getter material 2 at a high temperature and an activating getter material 3 at a low temperature formed on the surface of the activating getter material 2 at a high temperature. The high-temperature activated getter material 2 is activated at a high temperature and consists of, for example, Ti, Ti-Al alloy or Zr-Al alloy and the like, and is already activated at more than 700°C. The low-temperature activating getter material 3 is activated at a low temperature, consists of, for example, Fe-V-Zr alloy and the like, and is deposited on the outer surface of the high-temperature activating getter material 2. The outer surface of the low-temperature activating getter material 3 is coated with an oxide, a nitride and the like.
