Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an on/off getting port safety device for a man conveyer which improves safety of a comb part actuated by moving a rubber plate to a side of a landing plate in the case where a foot or the like of a passenger collides against the comb part.
CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a slide material 18a provided in both sides of a front end part (comb side) of a rubber plate 7, slide material 18b provided on a side of a landing plate 6 of the rubber plate 7, guide 19 of regulating moving in a width direction of the slide material 18a and a limit switch 25 of detecting moving the rubber plate to a side of the landing plate 6.
