The gift wrapping bag comprises a bag body A to store bank notes, and a decorative strip B with at least a part of ceremonial paper strings or ceremonial paper string decoration 10 joined thereto with adhesive and integrally mounted thereon. The bag body A with the bank notes stored therein is inserted in the decorative strip B, and the decorative strip B is formed of either paper, non-woven textile or plastic. The decorative strip may be printed, and the bag body is formed by folding paper sheet and overlapping a plurality of paper pieces each other, and folding back upper and lower portions of the overlapped portions.
