Adhesive 20 is coated on a peripheral part of a glass G for motor vehicle by a glass holding part 1 for motor vehicle provided with a loading part 2 loading the glass G for motor vehicle and a lifting part lifting and lowering the glass G while supporting it, a coating mold 10 provided with a guide side part 11 having such shape that corresponds to a shape of a peripheral end part of the glass G and a coating groove part which stores the adhesive 20 to be coated on a peripheral part of the glass G along an inner side of the guide side part 11 and has a triangular beadlike cross section, a coating mold lifting cylinder lifting, lowering, and driving the coating mold 10, and an automatic adhesive supply device 30 supplying the adhesive 20 to the coating groove part of the coating mold 10 through a supply and discharge port.
