Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass breakage detector that can detect the fact that glass is broken by a glass cutter surely by distinguishing from other breakages.
SOLUTION: The glass breakage detector is constituted of a vibration detecting means 1, which detects the vibration of glass, an extracting means 2, which extracts the signal of 50 kHz or less from the output signal of the vibration detecting means, and a pattern detecting means 3, which outputs the detected signal of the glass breakage when the blank period of the specified signal appears in the pattern of the output signal of the output signal of the extracting means. The detection of the blank period of the specified signal prevents the erroneous detection caused by the vibration when the glass is broken by other cause, and the judgment of the breakage can be performed in a short time.
