PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: glass cloth low in dielectric constant with which a substrate excellent in insulation reliability can be manufactured; and prepregs and a printed wiring board using the glass cloth.SOLUTION: The glass cloth is made by weaving a glass thread, as warp and weft, composed of a plurality of glass filaments. In the glass thread, one of the warp and the weft has a composition amount of SiOof 98-100 mass% and the other has a composition amount of SiOof 45-60 mass%, and glass filaments having a composition amount of BOof 15-30 mass% is contained. An average diameter of the glass filaments is 3-10 μm, the number of filaments of the warp and the weft is 20-300, the placing density is 20-140/inch, the thickness is 8-100 μm, an ignition loss value is 0.2-1.0 mass%, a dielectric constant (relative dielectric constant) K is 3.8
