Abstract:
To provide a glass container extremely excellent in design effect and capable of being enhanced in commodity value by adapting a novel decoration method to a glass container employed as a bottle for sake or cosmetics.
A masking having a predetermined size is applied to the outer surface of a glass bottle 1 and frost processing or sand blasting is applied to this glass bottle 1 to leave a window part 2 having a smooth surface on the masking part and surface roughnening treatment is applied to the outer surface of the glass bottle excepting the window part 2 to apply matting 3 thereto and a decoration 4 such as a character or pattern is applied to the outer surface of the glass bottle on the rear surface side opposed to the window part 2.
