Abstract:
To provide a glass fiber fabric for a bag filter, excellent in durability and acid resistance, and a method for producing the same.
This glass fiber fabric for the bag filter consists of glass fibers of both a filament fiber and bulky fiber and achieves ≥70 % retaining rate of tensile strength both in weft yarn direction and warp yarn direction after bending 5,000 times by using an MIT type bend-resisting strength test instrument in accordance with JIS R 3420. As to the improvement of the acid resistance, in addition to the above, it is achieved by the glass fiber fabric for the bag filter, having ≥40 % fluorine region of the surface distribution state obtained by the mapping of elements with an XMA (X-ray micro-analyzer).
