Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject composition excellent in process-ability, tapping strengths, heat resistance, etc., by mixing a specified terpolymer with a specified graft polymer, a specified bipolymer and glass fibers in a specified weight ratio.
CONSTITUTION: 10-60wt.% terpolymer (A) of an inherent viscosity of 0.2-0.7 obtained by polymerizing 10-30wt.% N-phenylmaleimide with 45-85wt.% styrene and 5-25wt.% acrylonitrile is mixed with 5-20wt.% graft polymer (B) obtained by polymerizing 20-70wt.% conjugated diene rubber with 25-60wt.% styrene and 5-40wt.% acrylonitrile, and 10-80wt.% bipolymer (c) of an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4-0.8 obtained by polymerizing 50-80wt.% styrene with 20-50wt.% acrylonitrile under such conditions that the intrinsic viscosity of component A is not greater than the intrinsic viscosity of component C, and the styrene content of component C minus the styrene content of component A equals +20 to -5. The obtained mixture is further mixed with 5-35wt.% glass fibers.
