Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a resin compsn. excellent in heat resistance, stiffness, tapping properties, and moldability by compounding a specific maleimide copolymer, a specific vinyl copolymer, a specific graft polymer, and glass fibers.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by compounding 10-50 pts.wt. maleimide copolymer (A) produced from 60-70wt.% arom. vinyl monomer, 30- -40wt.% unsatd. dicarboximide deriv., and 0-15wt.% copolymerizable vinyl monomer, 40-80 pts.wt. vinyl copolymer (B) produced form 75-80wt.% arom. vinyl monomer, 20-25wt.% vinyl cyanide monomer, and 0-15wt.% copolymerizable vinyl monomer, 5-30 pts.wt. graft copolymer (C) produced by grafting 60-40wt.% monomers for producing component (B) onto 40-60wt.% rubbery polymer (to a degree of grafting of 30-40%), and 5-30 pts.wt. glass fibers in such a manner that the MFR of the mixture of components (A) (B) and (C) is in the range of 20 to 80g/10min.
