Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a glass fiber woven fabric for printed-wiring board capable of improving dimensional stability of a printed-wiring board, especially of a multi-layer board.
CONSTITUTION: In a glass fiber woven fabric in which constitution of warp and weft of the woven fabric satisfy the relationship of the formula I [(warp width (mm) + weft thickness (mm)) × warp density (number/25mm)≥25], the glass fiber woven fabric is characterized in that percentage of twist shrinkage of warp and weft satisfies the relationship of the formula II (percentage of twist shrinkage of warp/percentage of twist shrinkage of weft ≥1.5).
