Abstract:

PURPOSE: To crush and pulverize a mixture containing waste thermoplastic resin, edible oil and a strong alkali hydroxide efficiently and easily by the mixture at the given temperature, kneading and melt fluidizing uniformly, and then quenching and solidifying the same by means of a refrigerant.
CONSTITUTION: A waste resin mixture 1-a containing waste thermoplastic resin, edible oil and a strong alkali hydroxide is fed from a feeding section 7 of an extrusion device of simple structure provided with a screw 2 installed in a cylinder 5 composed of a steel pipe and melted at the temperature of maximum 200-350°C by a heater 6 installed in the cylinder 5. Then the mixture is heat kneaded under high temperature and closed pressure to turn uniformly into the melt fluidized state, and a waste resin treated material 1-6 is discharged out of a discharge outlet 9 through a die, and while cooled water is discharged out of a water jetting outlet 10 positioned close to the die to quench the material, the material is introduced into a water tank 16, cooled and solidified therein.
