Abstract:
To provide glass which is free from elution of an alkali metal component and is hard to be damaged and hard to be cracked.
The glass for a medicine container of the present invention does not contain an alkali metal component and contains, as a glass composition, 50-70% of SiO2, 0-15% of B2O3, 10-20% of Al2O3, 0-5% of MgO, 0-10% of CaO, 0-10% of SrO, and 0-10% of BaO by mass.
