Abstract:
To inhibit vibration occurring during glass plate end surface processing to improve accuracy of the end surface processing.SOLUTION: In a glass plate end surface processing method according to the invention, a tool 13 (14) provided at an end surface processing device 10 is placed in contact with an end surface 2 of a glass plate 1 while being rotated to perform predetermined processing to the end surface 2. The end surface processing device 10 includes: a spindle 15a to which the tool 13 (14) is attached; a spindle head 15b which rotatably supports the spindle 15a; and a head attachment member 22 to which one axial end part 15c of the spindle head 15b is attached. An axial intermediate part of the spindle 15b is supported by an intermediate support member 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
