Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a glass roll, capable of accurately conveying a glass film in a vacuum.SOLUTION: A method for manufacture a glass roll by subjecting a glass film conveyed by conveyance rollers in a vacuum chamber to manufacturing related processing to wind the glass film into a roll comprises: a first preparation step of vacuuming the vacuum chamber 2; a second preparation step of positioning the conveyance rollers 9a-9d; and a manufacturing related processing step of subjecting the glass film to the manufacturing related processing while conveying the glass film GF1 by the conveyance rollers. In the second preparation step, the positions of the conveyance rollers are changed by transmitting a control signal to a position change device 10 arranged in the vacuum chamber from a control device 5 arranged in the outside of the vacuum chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
