To provide a surface treating method for a glass which makes it difficult for dust to adhere to an existing glass.
The surface of a lustering agent layer 3 of a glass 1 is bombarded with a projection material S to form irregularities 31 having a pitch P of 0.5 m or less on the surface. Because of the formation of the irregularities 31 having the pitch P smaller than an adherend M adhering to the glass 1, the adherend M, such as dust, comes into point contact with the lustering agent layer 3. As a result, the adherend M comes to have difficulty in adhering and depositing, and is, therefore, cleaned up easily by rain, etc. Because bombarding the surface of the lustering agent layer 3 with the projection material S suffices, an easy and realistic surface treatment on the existing glass 1 becomes possible.
