Abstract:
Isothermal vessel comprising a double wall (21, 22) which is silvered on the inside and in which a vacuum has been created, made from glass of a thickness affording sufficient impact resistance, the inner wall (22) has been welded to the outer wall (21) after introduction via the bottom of the outer wall (21) and the attached base (25) of the vessel has a shape such that the tube (23) for creating the vacuum, once closed, is protected from impact, the glass used being a borosilicate glass with a high resistance to thermal shock. The vessel preferably comprises a protective sleeve (30) in the space which is under vacuum, between the inner wall (22) and the outer wall (21), placed against the surface of the inner wall (22).
