Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a synchronizer in which timing is corrected in a stable timing and in following to a large timing deviation even when the large time deviation takes place.
CONSTITUTION: This synchronizer is provided with a shift register 7 storing a synchronization code word pulse at times before and after a reception time of a synchronization code word assumed by a receiver among synchronization code word pulses obtained through correlation processing at a sampling period of A/D conversion and a subtractor means 14 providing an output of a detection value of timing deviation based on a difference between synchronization code word pulses stored at both ends 8, 12 of the shift register 7. Since the synchronization code word stored around the middle of the shift register 7 whose timing is almost matched is excluded from the discrimination of timing deviation, an event of starting unstable correction in response to a detected value of timing correction with oversensitivity is prevented.
