Abstract:

To provide a centrifugal molding method for efficiently manufacturing thermosetting resin moldings (glassy carbon tube precursors) having neither bubbles nor cracks, by performing the curing rapidly and efficiently at the time of the centrifugal molding, and to provide a manufacturing method for a glassy carbon tube with a high quality in high productivity.

A mold having an increased inner surface area by roughing is used. The raw materials containing a thermosetting resin are centrifugally molded to produce the glassy carbon tube precursor and further to produce the glassy carbon tube by carbonizing the precursor.
