To provide an assembly insulating board which accompanies neither burrs nor cracks, retains smoothness as a glazed layer, and has split grooves, and to provide a method of suppressing the formation of burrs and cracks even if the speed of laser scanning is raised upon forming split grooves in manufacturing an assembly insulating board having the split grooves to manufacture the assembly insulating board at high yield.

The glazed insulating board includes an insulating board and a glazed layer formed on the surface of the insulating board. The glazed layer includes a glass containing SiO2, BaO, CaO, Al2O3, and ZrO2, Fe2O3having a spinel structure, and a black inorganic pigment made substantially of Cr2O3and CoO, and the black inorganic pigment content is 7.0 to 12.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the glass content, while the ZrO2content in the glass is 15 to 20 mass%. The glazed insulating board is applicable to electronic components such as a fuse, fuse resistor, and sensor.
