Abstract:
To form a second protrusive glazed layer 12 of a glazed substrate for a thermal printer head without decreasing the dimensional accuracy of the glazed layer 12.
The desired glazed substrate 2 is obtained by a manufacturing method comprising processes wherein a pair of opposed end surfaces is formed as a split surface, wherein a ceramic substrate and the glazed layer are split along a split groove after the glazed layer is formed in a part except an alignment marker part, and wherein an alignment marker is formed on the surface of the ceramic substrate.
