Title:
GLIDE STRIP OF RAZOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001025587
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a glide strip for a razor for wet type shaver containing a mixture composed of polyurethane(PUR) and polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP) at a ratio smaller than 3:1.

The ratio of the PVP/PUR is most preferably 2.5 to 1.5:1. The glide strip having the ratio within the range allows the incorporation of such an additive as aloe or vitamin E acetate, into the strip by such a way of allowing the deposition of the material from the strip on the user's skin during use. Since the benefit of direct coating application of the certain material to the user's skin is thereby provided, the experience of shaving is improved. Further, the glide strip having the PVP/PUR blend which is a specified color and ratio is provided and an index of the time for exchanging the razor by the consumption of the PVP/PUR blend which occurs as the razor is used and the exposure of the primer coating material which is the color different from that before use is provided.
