Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make safe flight possible by providing a flexible wing forming a wing shape by filling gas within a wing. CONSTITUTION:A glider 1 is composed of a flexible wing 2, the harness 3 retaining the body of a pilot 6, and a rope 4 connecting the wing 2 and the harness 3. The wing 2 is formed with plural sub-wings having high gastightness, and a gas injection port 5 is attached to the part of the wing. A valve 7 is attached to the port 5, and the air supply/discharge to the wing is conducted by the opening/closing of the valve 7. At first, a wing shape is formed with a gas lighter than air such as, e.g., hydrogen and helium etc., injected from the port 5. Then the harness 3 is attached to the body of a pilot 6. A safe take-off can be made since the wing is already floating in the air in this condition. And safeness is high since the gas in the whole wing is not released even if its part is damaged since the wing is composed of plural gastight chambers.
