Title:
GLIDING SURFACE MATERIAL FOR SKI
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3778455
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve product appearance, cushion property and the feel, strength, etc., at the time of gliding by waving yarn-like bodies having a prescribed diameter at a prescribed radius of curvature and arraying these bodies in parallel and multiple plies to form a connected yarn member and integrally molding a connecting member orthogonally therewith.
CONSTITUTION: This gliding surface material 4 for ski is formed by integrating the connected yarn member 2 and the connecting member 3 having a rectangular shape intersected orthogonally with the yarn-like bodies 1 by injection molding. The connected yarn member 2 is formed by waving the yarn-like bodies 1 having the diameter of 1 to 3mm at the radius of curvature of 15 to 40mm and arraying these bodies in parallel and multiple plies. The connecting member 3 is provided with at least two rows of parallel recessed parts 5, 6 in the longitudinal direction of its rectangular shape in the opposite positions of its front and rear to remove the shrinkage strains at the time of molding and to eliminate the shrinks and warpage at the time of shrinking. The injection molding is so executed that the front ends of the yarn-like bodies 1 arrive at the positions of at least 65% of the length in the short side direction of the rectangular shape of the connecting member 3.
