To provide an as-cast globular graphite cast iron having a high fatigue strength by inhibiting the deposition of a ferrite structure at the surface of the mill scale to obtain a pearlitic surface structure.

The globular graphite cast iron contains 3.2-3.8 wt.% C, 2.0-2.8 wt.% Si, ≤0.3 wt.% Mn, ≤0.04 wt.% P and 0.02-0.06 wt.% Mg. The globular graphite cast iron also contains 0.03-0.08 wt.% Sn and 0.5-1.5 wt.% Cu.
