To solve the problems in that toner on paper may stick to a punch or dice when a punch hole is made in the paper with an image formed thereon, and toner may stick to needle push-out means when a stapling process is performed, with the result that if toner sticks to any members for post-processing as described above, trouble may occur in these members, or toner may stick to paper subjected to post-processing subsequently, ends up failure in an image formed by an image forming apparatus.
A gloss generating device comprises: a storage reading processing unit 199 including storage means for storing post-processing position information indicating a position where post-processing is performed on a recording medium with an image formed thereon, and reading means for reading the post-processing position information stored by the storage means; and an image formation information converting unit 195 including conversion means for converting an amount of toner attached to a pixel in a position indicated by the post-processing position information read by the reading means.
