This glove box device 1 has a work chamber 10 and a carry-in/out chamber 20. First and second heaters 51 and 52 are pulled around on bottom surfaces, ceilings and side surfaces of the work chamber 10 and the carry-in/out chamber 20. Since an inner wall surface of the work chamber 10 is heated when the first and second heaters 51 and 52 are energized, water on the inner wall surface 10 evaporates, even if water is adhered to the inner wall surface 10. In the work chamber 10 and the carry-in/out room 20, inactive gas circulating systems 30 and 40 are provided, respectively. Water vapor generated in internal spaces of the work chamber 10 and the carry-in/out chamber 20 is removed from each of the internal spaces because inactive gas circulates.
