To provide a glove capable of being relatively suitably fit to a hand and fingers, capable of being easily bent at the joint portions of the hand and the fingers, and not slipped from the wrist and the fingers on employment, and to provide a method for knitting the glove.
This glove 1 is obtained by knitting from tiptoe portions or finger bag portions to a hand-inserting portion. Finely knitted fabrics 4, 5 and 6 and rubber-inserting finely knitted fabrics 7 and 8 are preliminarily set to portions corresponding to the joints of a hand or their near portions. The finely knitted fabrics 4, 5, 6 and the rubber-inserting knitted fabrics 7 and 8 are knitted in a smaller density than that of the remaining standard knitted fabrics 2. In addition, rubber bands are inserted into the rubber-inserting finely knitted fabrics 7 and 8 in the direction for feeding main yarns 9.
