Title:
GLOVES MADE OF PLASTIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1018114
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain the subject readily handleable gloves, extremely well fitting the sizes of hands, capable of improving the operating efficiency and handleability and suitable in production sites for medicines, foods, etc., by superposing films comprising a shape memorizing resin and thermally fusing the outer peripheries into the shape of the gloves.

The gloves A made of a plastic are obtained by forming a shape memorizing resin into films 1 embossed in either one or both surfaces, respectively longitudinally and transversely stretching the films 1 in an atmosphere at a temperature above the glass transition temperature thereof, heat- setting the stretched films 1, using the resultant heat-set films 2 as substrates for the gloves A, superposing the two sheets 2 and thermally fusing the outer peripheries thereof into the shape of the gloves A. In addition, the gloves A made of the plastic have preferably a length covering areas extending from the finger tips to the shoulders and a polyolefin-based resin layer or a polyamide-based resin layer is preferably further laminated onto the outer surface of each film 2. A polyolefin-based resin layer or a nonwoven fabric containing water absorbing gel fibers is preferably laminated onto the inner surface of each film 2.
