Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a glue applicator which is capable of making a glue having relatively high viscosity adhere to a pattern cylinder or glue transfer cylinder in such a manner that a thin layer of a specified thickness is formed.
CONSTITUTION: This glue applicator 12 is provided with a housing 2 having a cylindrical inside surface and is so constituted that the glue is recirculated within the housing 2. The housing 2 is sealed from the pattern cylinder or glue transfer cylinder 1 to which the glue is adhered. A rubbing cylinder 3 driven by a motor is eccentrically mounted at the interior 12 thereof.
