Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [R1 is 8W22C alkyl, phenyl-substituted 2W5C alkyl; R2 is azido, amino, etc.; R3 is 1W8C alkylene; R4 is amino, -NHCOR6 (R6 is 1W4C alkyl), -NHR6, -N(R6)2, etc.] and an acid addition salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: (2RS)-1-O-Hexadecyl-2-dehydroxy-2-azido-3-O-[4-(dimethylamino)butyl] glycerol.
USE: Useful as a blood platelet agglutination inhibitor, antiasthmatic agent, antiallergic agent, anti-inflammatory agent, hypotensive agent and antitumor agent.
PROCESS: A compound of formula II (R7 is alkylsulfonyl, etc.; R4a is a group of -NHCOR6, etc.) is reacted with sodium azide in a solvent, e.g. hexamethylphosporamide, at room temperature W80°C to give the aimed compound of formula I (R2 is amino; R4 is R4a).
