Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glycoside that can more easily introduce a ligand, can carry out the functional modification of a nucleic acid molecule without adversely influencing its function, and can be suitably used in carrying out the sugar modification of a variety of biologically active substances utilizing a solid phase synthesis method.SOLUTION: The glycoside is represented by formula (I) (in the formula, A, B, and Rto Reach represents a functional group or a protected hydroxy group; and a, b, c, m and n each represents a suitable integer). The glycoside can suitably be used for the sugar modification of a nucleic acid by a solid phase synthesis method.
