Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collecting material capable of selectively and efficiently collecting (adsorbing) and recovering (separating) gold under acidic conditions, and a separating and recovering method for gold, capable of easily performing recovery of gold even in an aqueous solution by use of the collecting material.SOLUTION: The collecting material for gold for selectively adsorbing gold includes an epoxy-introduced carrier. The epoxy-introduced carrier is composed of a cross-linking polymer containing epoxy group, or an inorganic porous carrier or carbonaceous porous single body on which a compound having epoxy group is supported. The collecting material is used under acidic conditions for enhancing the adsorption rate of gold.
