Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gold recovery method enabling gold to be recovered from ore containing arsenic and gold such as arsenopyrite at a high recovery rate.SOLUTION: The gold recovery method is provided for recovering gold from ore containing arsenic and gold and comprises a middle treatment step of dissolving the ore, and a leaching step of bringing a solution containing cyan into contact with the dissolved ore thereby leaching out gold. It is preferable that the arsenic contained in the ore is leached at a dissolution rate equal to 60% or more in the middle treatment step. In the middle treatment step, in concrete terms, an alkali dissolution process of dissolving ore by an alkaline solution and a high pressure oxidation process of dissolving ore in high pressure oxidation atmosphere are performed.
