To provide a golf bag capable of preventing a club stored in a bag body from accidentally abutting to a hand holding a grip part of a handle member.

This golf bag has the handle member with a support rod extending upward/downward on a side part of the bag body and the grip part mounted at the upper end of the support rod on the side part of the bag body. In the golf bag, the position of the support rod of the handle member can be changed from the position where the support rod is inclined in the direction of parting from the bag body toward the upper end side to the position along the side of the bag body, and the support rod is slidable to a storage member attached to the side part of the bag body. The golf bag also has a lock control mechanism for locking the support rod at the position where the support rod is retreated to the storage member and the position where the support rod is drawn out from the storage member.
