To provide a portable golf ball clarifying device that can provide a means which can approach to clarify a golf ball easily at any time or position of a course.

A golf ball clarifying device O has a ball clarifying pad 18 that can approach easily to wipe a ball and can be installed to a golf player so as to be put on and taken off at a position without disturbing a swing of the golf player. In a suitable example, the ball clarifying pad 18 is made of a lightweight water absorption material which is held at a water-resistant back plate 16 and the back plate 16 extends outward and upward and forms a bent bottom part or a storage space 25 at an end of a bottom of the back plate 16. In the second suitable example, the back plate 16 has a side wall that extends from a bottom 28 of the back plate to a top of the back plate. In the third example, the back plate 16 has a side wall having a lip or a front wall to hold the water absorption material at the back plate so as be put on and taken off. In the fourth example, the device has an absorbent cloth to wipe and dry the golf ball. In the example, a hook part is provided to install the device to the golf player so as to be put on and taken off.
