Abstract:
To provide a golf ball which has optimal performance and durability, simultaneously can eaily be manufactured and includes an intermediate layer and a cover layer, and to provide its manufacturing method.
The golf ball including a composition having an unsaturated polymer, a cross-linking agent, and a peptizer, where the peptizer is a non-metal salt of an organosulfur compound. The composition can be incorporated into the golf ball's core, intermediate layers, and cover layers, and can provide optimal performance and durability properties. The golf balls incorporating the composition are easy to manufacture by forming and compressing into a golf ball shape and inducing cross-linking by applying heat energy or radiation.
