Abstract:
To provide an improved golf ball capable of providing optimal performance and durability while it is easy to manufacture.
The core, intermediate layers and/or cover layers of the golf ball are formed of a composition containing an unsaturated polymer, at least one cross-linking agent of a selected amount, a peptizer and, if necessary, an accelerator. The golf ball core manufactured in such a manner provides a coefficient of restitution (C.O.R) as high as possible and adjusted compression neither too high nor too low.
