Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method for a golf ball by which a cover can be formed thinly and evenly, and in addition, the carry and the spinning amount can be increased as well.
This manufacturing method of the golf ball includes four processes. A powdered thermoplastic resin is thrown into a die which is heated to a specified temperature, and the die is rotated, and the resin is melted to flow, and the film of the molten resin is formed by the die in the first process. A core is cast into the die in which the film is formed, and the die is rotated in the second process. The molten resin is cooled and hardened while keeping the rotation of the die in the third process. The formed golf ball is taken out from the die in the fourth process.
