Abstract:
SOLUTION: A production method of a golf ball comprising one layer or more layers of covers on a core, in which an outermost layer of the cover is molded of a thermoplastic material selected from polyurethane, polyurea and a mixture thereof, comprises at least following steps (1) and (2) for: (1) processing a surface of the cover with an isocyanate compound; and (2) injecting at high pressure, a specific substance to the cover surface, and removing in a cleaning state and a physical state, a surplus isocyanate compound out of the isocyanate compound.EFFECT: According to the invention, a production method of a golf ball comprising further excellent scuff resistance, spin characteristics and ball appearance relative to prior golf balls, can be provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
