PURPOSE: To provide a lightweight golf ball marker easy to manufacture, having good operability and good corrosion resistance, molded into the delicate shape and pattern, and having an abundant decorative design property by using titanium or titanium alloy as a raw material, and forming it by cast molding.
CONSTITUTION: A golf ball marker is made of titanium or titanium alloy, it has a plate section 11a and an anchor section 11b formed by cast molding, and a decorative design is applied on the surface of the plate section 11a. A Ti-Al intermetallic compound is selected for a fusing metal base material 37, for example, and it is cast. The gas in a casting space 33a and a runner 33b is discharged through a ceramic shell casting mold 33 having air passability via the pressure difference between the inner pressure of a cast chamber 39 and the inner pressure of a fusing space 40, and a Ti-Al fused alloy 47 is sucked into the runner 33b and cast space 33a through a hollow tube 42 and coagulated in the case space 33a. The shape precision of the plate section 11a and the anchor section 11b is improved.
