To provide a golf ball-molding tool capable of manufacturing a golf ball effectively exhibiting aerodynamic properties.
The golf ball-molding tool includes a hollow spherical cavity formed inside a plurality of split molds separably connected and a plurality of dimple-forming projections protrusively provided on a wall face of the cavity, wherein dividing faces of the split molds are formed into projections and recesses corresponding to the projections. The whole or a part of the dimple-forming projections are formed in positions apart from outer edges of the projections of the dividing faces by 0.03 mm or greater. In the molding tool, burs protruding from the dividing faces of the molding tool have no rooms to invade inside the dimples, thereby even deburring provides the dimples with no influence. The golf ball manufactured by the molding tool highly densely, uniformly and effectively exhibits the aerodynamic properties through the dimples to the surface of the ball.
