Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball pick-up device which is backwardly pushed and propelled by a driving vehicle, protects grass by the decrease of movable load and the reduction of the weight over the entire part of the device resulted from housing of a small quantity of golf balls, surely picks up the balls even in an inclined place, ensures the pick-up, transporting and discharging in a prescribed position of the balls with less manpower and higher efficiency, is simple in construction and is inexpensive.
SOLUTION: A ball transporting and discharging device, which is backwardly pushed by the driving vehicle and travels in follow up to handle manipulation of the driving vehicle, is connected to the front of the driving vehicle. The golf balls picked up and recovered by a ball recovering drum are recovered and housed into a trough-like tiltable ball container of the device arranged at the front of a base frame. A ball discharging gate disposed at the ball container is tilted by hoisting the ball container by means of a wire connected to a motor driven winch which can be manipulated from the driver's seat of the driving vehicle, by which the balls are discharged.
