Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball in which an amount of light to be reflected is not reduced, and which can be distinguished from a blue or white color, for improving visibility of the golf ball.SOLUTION: A golf ball is formed of a core 20 and a cover layer 30 formed of one layer or more layers for covering the core. At least one layer out of layers forming the cover layer contains a fluorescent whitening agent, the fluorescent whitening agent absorbs an ultraviolet light and emits light containing a visible light ray having a wavelength shorter than a wavelength of visible light rays of blue and green colors. At least one layer out of layers forming the cover layer, an inorganic fluorescent body is mixed in a resin. The inorganic fluorescent body absorbs light having at least a part of a wavelength among visible light rays having a wavelength shorter than that of the visible light rays of blue and green colors, and emits the light containing the visible light rays of green and yellow wavelength ranges, and absorbs at least a part of the visible light rays which are emitted by the fluorescent whitening agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
